Best know for his pop culture mash-ups, Mojokoworld is a reaction to the bombardment of images of todays visual culture, he reworks and spits out mutations of the glossy pop, advertising world. The work is a reaction to living in Modern Asia. The TV, internet, outdoor advertising culture has influenced every aspect of his work, and his focus is dedicated to learning those tools of Visual Communication in order to subvert them.

A practising artist for over 15 years, Mojoko has grown deep roots within the creative community as curator, publisher, teacher and mentor. His commercial work is managed by The Unusual Network, an international collection of creators, and he is responsible for the quarterly publication EYEYAH! An illustrated guide to the world for kids (and kidults). Email [ steve @ mojoko . net ]
